In what can only be named a weird choice of publicity, HBO has announced that it's going to release a mixtape for its hit show “Game of Thrones” that's going to be called “Catch the Throne.” Among the artists that are featured on this mixtape is also OutKast's Big Boi, who sings a song called “Mother of Dragons.”

Clearly, the track is made to honor Khaleesi, the name for wife of the Dothraki leader, and the chorus speaks of “Dungeons, dragons, kings and queens” before throwing some unexpected expletives at the other families fighting for control for the Iron Throne.

It looks like the producers are looking to expand the popularity of their show as much as they can and they are tapping in some unusual markets with this mixtape that features several hip hop and reggae artists.

The singer of the track, Big Boi, told The Wall Street Journal that, “I'm really happy, I get to be part of the process of one of my favorite shows,” while the article claims that this pairing is only natural, reminding us all of the time when Wu-Tang came out to rap to kung fu samples, before concluding that, “There are no limitation to hip-hop culture.”

That may be the case, but that doesn't mean there aren't going to be some raised eyebrows among the hardcore fans of this fantasy series when they hear some of the famous lines of the show used as lyrics in hip hop songs.

Disclamer: Discretion is advised as the song contains some strong language.
