Zimmerman steps up to help passengers in a capsized car in Florida

George Zimmerman has pulled over to help a family in a car crash in Florida, and TMZ writes that the passengers are Caucasian.

According to Local 10, a deputy with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office has stated that Zimmerman was at the scene when they arrived to help passengers in an overturned blue Ford Explorer.

Two adults and two children were inside when the vehicle veered off road and capsized. The suspect acquitted in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin was accompanied by an unidentified second man.

They had already gotten the family members out of the vehicle before police showed up. 911 calls made by witnesses at the scene document the incident. An audio of the calls has been posted above this news blog.
