Taylor Swift's attempt to rap doesn't go as expected

In the string of singers rapping or trying to rap Eminem's “Lose Yourself,” we can now welcome Taylor Swift. The 23-year-old singer tries to show fans that there is more to her than just a country-pop princess.

Before rocking the stage at Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer showed off her rapping skills in a radio appearance on “The Danger Show” at US station Froggy Radio.

While fiercely playing the guitar, Taylor covered the beginning of the song in a not-so-good rapping attempt. We have to admit that her voice is not made for rap, she'd better stick to country-pop music and leave “Lose Yourself” covers for the experienced, like Eminem or Kelly Clarkson.

Kelly Clarkson did a pretty good job covering Eminem's song in Detroit a few weeks ago, wearing the hoodie and all. It would be interesting to see more of what that side of Kelly has to offer.

Not the same thing can be said about Justin Bieber, who had his own failed attempt of rapping “Lose Yourself,” also in Detroit.

As for Taylor, hopefully she will keep her rapping skills to herself and stick to her great country-pop songs, at least for the moment, until she gets the chance to practice a little bit more.
