A new song from Lana del Rey has leaked online and, cool as it may sound, it won't be included on her upcoming album “Ultraviolence.” The reason why it was linked to her new album is because it was recorded in the same sessions.

The song serves as a much-needed update from the singer, who has been dropping hints and speculation about her new album. In a recorded conversation with fans, she hinted that “Ultraviolence” was due to be released on May 1, but there hasn't been any official confirmation of the release date so far, nor has there been a tracklist announced.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see what the “Video Games” singer has in store for them after her successful album “Born to Die,” which came out in 2012. Especially since Lana herself gushed about the new material saying, “It's so good that it made me forget about the last record. I'm in love with it. I have that romantic feeling about it.”

Apart from her new album, Lana is also billed to play a couple of concerts across America in May and June, during which time she might preview some of her new songs. Lana was also announced as a live act at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
