There is huge potential for “Lay Me Down,” a cool sounding summer track released by Avicii in collaboration with Nile Rodgers and Adam Lambert. Take a listen to the song and remember it because you're going to be hearing it a lot over this summer in all the clubs.

Avicii has confirmed that his next release is going to be this upbeat song that he composed together with Nile Rodgers and Adam Lambert. This will be the fifth single to be released from the Dj's debut album “True.”

It has been preceded by the hugely successful “Wake Me Up,” one of the biggest dance hits of 2013, “You Make Me,” “Hey Brother” and “Addicted to You.”

The young DJ has been very busy of late, as Madonna announced she was working with him on her upcoming new studio album, her thirteenth, with the likes of Toby Gad and Diplo. Some of the hectic scheduling, alternating between live performances and lengthy studio sessions have taken their toll on the musician.

Earlier this year, he was taken to the emergency room and later underwent gall bladder removal surgery when he became ill before a scheduled performance. At the moment, he seems to have recovered nicely and is ready to start working again.

“Lay Me Down” is going to be released in its entirety later today.
