Nothing gets you in the Christmas spirit like a Mariah Carey song written and released especially for the occasion. Her duet with John Legend, “When Christmas Comes,” should do the trick for you – and then some. A few days ago, the diva teased her fans on Twitter with a video announcing she'd gotten in the studio
with her good friend and idol Legend to work on new music.
She didn't say what that was, but she played a bit of audio of the track and it became clear it was a Christmas song.
It's now out in its final version, and voices online are already pointing out that it's many times better than the duet she did with Justin Bieber, for a cover of her “All I Want for Christmas.”
Mariah's vocals are exquisite as always, while John's voice complements her perfectly. For many, many fans, this collaboration is a dream come true.
