If you're not in the winter holiday spirit yet, you're bound to get there once you listen to the track above. Kelly Clarkson has just released her own Christmas-themed song, “I'll Be Home for Christmas.”
While stars like Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey went for very upbeat, pop-sounding Christmas songs, Kelly has turned her attention to a classic, jazzy piece.
“I'll Be Home for Christmas” is a new take on Bing Crosby’s 1943 hit record of the same name and, just like it, it's jazzy, sentimental and almost painfully beautiful.
If there's anyone who can do justice to such a brilliant song, that person must be Kelly – because she has both the pipes and the guts to tackle such a difficult track.
