14 DAY TRIAL // One particular nurse at the King Edward VII Hospital in London, where Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is currently at, is in serious trouble. She fell for a phone prank and revealed confidential information about the patient.
Check out the whole thing in the video above: it’s the work of two radio hosts from Sydney-based station 2Day FM, who pretended to be Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles, and requested updates on Kate’s condition.
The pregnant Duchess, as it must already be known, is a patient there because she has an acute form of morning sickness.
Not only did the call get patched through but a very obliging – and quite flustered – nurse actually thought she was speaking to the Queen and revealed all she knew about Kate.
“This call was transferred through to a ward and a short conversation was held with one of the nursing staff. King Edward VII's Hospital deeply regrets this incident,” a spokesperson for the hospital says, adding that they’re currently “reviewing [their] telephone protocols.”
