Britney is on a promo tour for her album and Las Vegas show, but it’s not going too well

Britney Spears is now on a promo tour for her new album and her Las Vegas 2-year residency but, as the two audio recordings included in this blog post can confirm, it’s not going that well. She’s just been put on blast by a couple of Houston radio hosts for giving them a very “stupid” interview.

Some hours ago, Britney went live with The Roula & Ryan Show in Houston but the radio hosts decided to go a little off track with their questions, as they explain in the recording embedded below.

Britney’s interview questions are pre-screened and pre-approved and her interviews are still very controlled, in the sense that journos are not allowed to ask anything that’s not been signed off on by her people.

Roula and Ryan didn’t care for this, so the singer’s publicist banned them from airing the 5-minute interview, which they describe as “stupid” and “a complete waste of time.”

Before she went on this show, Britney was interviewed by another Houston radio station (above), which did run the 2-minute interview, only to make fun of her afterwards that the meds were making her hard of hearing.

Talk about being unprofessional. However, I think Roula and Ryan actually make a valid point: if you go on tour to promote your work, it’s best to have some answers ready.
