Warner Bros. has already done its part to help the victims' families and the survivors of the Aurora, Colorado shootings – and now it's composer Hans Zimmer's turn to do the same. Above is his tribute song.

Called “Aurora,” the track has been composed with the aim of helping raise funds for the families of the 12 people who perished in the shootings and for the 58 who were injured.

“'Aurora' is dedicated to those who lost their lives and were affected by the tragedy in Aurora, Colorado. I recorded this song in London in the days following the tragedy as a heartfelt tribute to the victims and their families,” Zimmer writes in the song's description.

“100% of the proceeds will be donated to Aurora Victim Relief organization. The track is available on iTunes shortly and you can donate,” the Oscar-winning composer further says, providing this link for donations.

Listen to the gut-wrenching track above and, if you feel the same way as Zimmer did when he composed it, make a small donation.

Hans Zimmer is a longtime Chris Nolan collaborator, having composed the music for all 3 of his Batman films, “The Dark Knight Rises” included, and “Inception.”
