When word first got out that Eminem would be releasing a record with pop star Rihanna, perhaps many of his fans thought he was already selling out. Their first collaboration, “I Love the Way You Lie,” came out in 2010 and wrote music history, and I have a feeling the same will happen with their latest.

Eminem’s new album, “Marshall Mathers LP 2,” is arriving in music stores on November 5 and, to get fans even more excited about it, he’s released a new single off it. You guessed it, it’s a Rihanna collaboration.

Called “The Monster,” the record is embedded below for your listening pleasure. *Some discretion is recommended because of one instance of language that might offend.

There’s no arguing that, unlike other releases from “MMLP2” so far, this one is much more radio-friendly and, because of it, bound to climb up the charts quickly. Because of the fact it has a much wider appeal than those, it will probably get a music video as well.

Keep an eye on this space for when that happens and, in the meantime, enjoy!
