Amy Winehouse's fans have reason to rejoice today: two of them actually. After the release of “Like Smoke,” a first song off the upcoming album “Lioness: Hidden Treasure,” a new song has emerged.

Whereas “Like Smoke” is a collaboration with longtime friend Nas, “Our Day Will Come” is a solo effort – and a brilliant one, while at it.

It shows a somewhat more playful, optimistic side of Amy, she who was so comfortable with pain that she could transmit it to her listener with just a few notes – and move them to tears in a heartbeat.

The song was recorded in May 2002 and it's a reggae re-working of the '60s Doo Wop song. It premiered on Radio 1, during the breakfast show.

Chris Moyles introduced it by saying that, by listening it, fans will become super-fans but, at the same time, they will also feel immense regret at having lost such a wonderful artist.

“I think if you're an Amy Winehouse fan, it's going to be a bit of a tear-jerker... When you hear her sing now, I think you hear it differently,” Moyles said.
