Just one day after the first review of Amy Winehouse's upcoming, posthumous album “Lioness: Hidden Treasure” made it way online, fans have a first chance to verify its veracity: a never-before-heard track has been released.

Called “Like Smoke,” the retro-soul track is actually a collaboration between the late singer and longtime friend Nas.

Because of the circumstances in which this song saw the light of day, one can't but help think it would have been much better had it featured more of Amy and less of Nas.

Even so, it's brilliant. Amy's voice is both soothing and chilling, showing the world once again why she was held in such high regard by her fans and the industry, despite the trainwreck that was her personal life, which always landed her on the first pages of the papers.

She was – and remains – one of the most talented, versatile and complex artist of our times.

“Lioness: Hidden Treasure” arrives on December 5, 2011. Check out the first song off it below.
