I hope you’re ready because “Glee” returns on Fox today, Tuesday, February 25, 2014. After making his spectacular debut on the series last November, American Idol alum Adam Lambert will be returning for more of the same – and by that I mean “more awesomeness.”

Tonight’s episode is called “Frenemies” and, according to Adam and Chris Colfer, it will feature a rock duet like never before done on “Glee.” You can listen to the duet above: it’s a cover of The Darkness’ hit “I Believe in a Thing Called Love.”

The second video embedded in this blog post is a short interview and behind-the-scenes look at “Frenemies,” with the two singers explaining how the rivalry between their onscreen characters, Kurt Hummell and Eliot “Starchild” Gilbert, led to the idea of staging the performance at a guitar shop and completed, for some reason, with a dancing pole.

And yes, there was some dancing on that pole.

On the same note, Adam Lambert has one of the most distinctive voices ever to come out of American Idol, as fans and critics agree. One would imagine that recording a duet with him is an incredibly tricky thing, particularly because he’s not that easily matched.

If you check out the full song above, you will see that Chris does a fine job at it.
