Says she doesn’t understand why other women shouldn’t be too

Showbiz is always focused on physical appearance, which is one of the many reasons why stars, both male and female, often feel pressured into changing one thing or another about their body. Television actress Lisa Rinna believes that women should all be proud of their body, even if it’s not even half as perfect as it “should” be, as she told People magazine during Kate Somerville’s skin care launch.

The 45-year-old star says that she is more comfortable without her clothes on than she is when she’s hosting fancy events or doing promo stuff. This is also why she cannot understand the stigma attached to women who somehow do not match the standards set by the industry, standards which, as a matter of fact, are close to impossible to attain.

As far as she’s concerned, she has never struggled to maintain her weight at a certain point, because she’s blessed with good genes. However, she still encourages women all over to be as natural as they can be, regardless of what others might say about what beauty is. “It is best to be moderate. I focus on fitness, eat healthy, and am lucky that I am not anorexic and my weight stays the same.” Rinna reveals about how she manages to keep in shape.

“I want to encourage other women to be proud of their bodies no matter what age or size. After doing Dancing with the Stars, I definitely have a better body now than I did 11 years ago.” the actress adds. In all fairness, she does look great – her body is in such a fit shape that Playboy just asked her to pose for the cover of the May issue, an offer she gladly accepted.

Several media outlets are pointing, though, that perhaps Lisa Rinna is not the one to advise other women to go all natural. A fan of plastic surgery and rejuvenating procedures, the actress has often been in all the headlines for her desire to have a plumper pout, an effort that ended in having what is known as “fish lips.” In the past, Rinna admitted to having had surgery, Botox and Juvederm, pointing out that the last one was the biggest “mistake” she had ever made.
