The celebrity chef has won a battle, still has a long way to go before winning the war

U.S. District Court Judge William T. Moore Jr. has dismissed Lisa Jackson's racial discrimination claim filed against celebrity chef Paula Deen.

The judge argued that, regardless of whether or not Paula Deen had used the N-word to refer to Lisa Jackson, the latter had no business accusing her of racial discrimination, simply because she was white.

Therefore, Lisa Jackson was by no means in a position to take legal measures against Paula Deen's racist comments, even if they were directed at her.

According to TMZ, Lisa Jackson tried arguing that a member of her family was bi-racial.

Apparently, Judge William T. Moore Jr. did not buy her arguments. Hence his decision to throw out the racial discrimination claim.

For the time being, the celebrity chef can take some time to celebrate this victory. However, she still faces sexual discrimination claims, and odds are these won't easily go away.
