14 DAY TRIAL // Lisa Edelstein, whom fans must surely remember from “House M.D.,” but who has also had appearances on “The Good Wife,” “Scandal” and “Elementary” as of late, will be seen next in “Castle.” She has been cast as Federal Investigator Rachel McCord, TV Line reports.
Official confirmation of the addition to the cast for season 6 of the show is still pending.
“The actress will play Rachel McCord, a tough and highly-skilled Federal Investigator whose appearance plays a vital role in Beckett’s decisions about her future,” TV Line writes.
“As you know, Season 5 ended with Beckett considering a move to Washington D.C. to work on a special task force in the U.S. Attorney General’s office — a decision presumably complicated by Rick proposing marriage in the very final scene,” adds the same media outlet.
Speculation on the connection between McCord and Beckett and how it will change the latter’s life is now ripe.
