It's a commonly known fact that the higher on performance your CPU is, the better your cooling solution must be. Trying to keep the CPU temperatures down to a minimum has led some system builders to incorporate liquid-based cooling solutions into high-end computer systems. Nevertheless, such solutions are expensive and can sometimes be hard to manage. Well, that could soon change, thanks to the Denmark-based Danamics, which has announced the availability of a very interesting product.

The company was founded in Denmark, back in 2005,
and specializes in the development and manufacturing of metal-based cooling solutions. The latest product to come out under its brand looks pretty much the same as any other CPU cooling solution we see at various manufacturers of these products. However, unlike normal CPU coolers, the LM10 cooler brings two features that promise to enhance the cooling factor significantly.

Simply dubbed the LM10 CPU cooler, it is the world's first commercially available liquid metal-based CPU cooler. According to Danamics, the LM10 can achieve and even surpass the cooling capabilities of most water coolers, which should make it the ultimate solution for the latest high-end CPUs. Even more, if all of the above claims are true, the new product provides a number of advantages over traditional air and water-cooling.

Another interesting feature of the LM10 is its electromagnetic pump, which is better than traditional fan-based solutions. First of all, the product doesn't imply any moving parts, which makes it ideal for low-noise operations. Secondly, the electromagnetic pump has an unlimited MTBF, which translates into a higher lifecycle.

Unfortunately, the cooler hasn't yet been put through any head-to-head test with other similar products. There is also no word on when the LM10 might drop in stores or on what its price tag might be. Either way, considering the alleged cooling capabilities it comes with, enthusiasts will most probably be on the lookout for any details of this kind.
