A man from Kuwait has managed to take a loose lion off the streets by luring it, then trapping it into his car.

According to the Mirror, the animal was a pet who escaped from a home in the Bayan district, in Kuwait city. It was roaming the streets until the man decided to capture it and stop it from possibly hurting someone.

He let his car doors open, got the lion to step inside the vehicle, then locked the doors. In order to prevent the lion from escaping again, he sat with it inside.

“The passerby sat inside the car with it but then the situation became dangerous,” a source with the police details.

He waited until police arrived and the lion could be transferred to a squad car. The lion scratched and clawed at the interior of his vehicle. It is pictured in the video above in the police vehicle.
