14 DAY TRIAL // Steam has been officially launched on the Linux platform for a little over six months, and now the Linux users will get to experience their first Steam summer sale.
As pointed out by our colleague from the Games department, the Steam Trading Cards system has made quite an impact so far, and it will be officially launched later this week.
This might not be much of an information for the Linux users, given the reduced number of games that are eligible for the Steam Trading Cards, but another piece of info has been made available.
“Making trading cards available to all Steam users is a step towards an event we think everyone can be excited about…” reads the final statement of the announcement.
The event mentioned is the Steam Summer Sale, and Linux users will get their share of really cheap games. We’ll keep you apprised with any information about this important event.
