Steam for Linux is getting closer to an official launch and Valve has now included a Linux tab into the client.

Valve is in high gear and they are working hard to make Steam for Linux a reality, probably by the end of year. One of the signs that the development is advancing quickly is the introduction of a Linux tab in the client.

This means that the users can now see the specific platform games, eliminating the need to search in the CDR database or any other sources.

Just like its counterparts, the Linux version presents itself in the same manner. It has a couple of high-profile featured games, Team Fortress 2 and Amnesia: The Dark Descent, a New Releases category, and of course the Top Sellers.

More and more games are getting added almost every day, so don't forget to check the store for more deals and new releases.
