Linux Mint Debian Edition 201204 RC Released

Clement Lefebvre announced last evening, April 11th, the immediate availability for download of the Release Candidate version of Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE) 201204.

Linux Mint Debian Edition 201204 RC comes packed in two editions, one with the MATE 1.2 and Cinnamon 1.4 desktop environments and the other one with the lightweight Xfce 4.8 desktop environment.

The hybrid ISO images of Linux Mint Debian Edition 201204 RC are available for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures and distributable as Live DVDs of about 1.2 GB in size.

"The team is proud to announce the release of LMDE 201204 RC with updated ISOs for MATE/Cinnamon and Xfce." - said Clement Lefebvre in the official announcement.

Highlights of Linux Mint Debian Edition 201204 RC include the Update Pack 4 and Linux kernel 3.2, all built on top of the Debian Testing operating system.
