14 DAY TRIAL // In a recent interview for the Linux User & Developer magazine, Clement Lefebvre, revealed some of the goals for the next major release of the Linux Mint operating system.
When asked by the Linux User & Developer magazine reporter whether the upcoming Linux Mint 16 will include the Cinnamon 2.0 desktop environment, Clement Lefebvre answered yes, revealing that this is definitely on their to-do list.
However, the most important part of the interview is the fact that the upcoming Cinnamon 2.0 desktop environment will be totally revamped, and that it won't need GNOME anymore.
