Linux Mint 12 LXDE brings updated applications and provides refinements, as well as new features, in order to make your desktop environment much more comfortable to use.
Moonlight has been removed from Linux Mint 12 LXDE as it crashed the Firefox web browser, and there is no boot splash screen, it is completely black.

Linux Mint 12 (Lisa) LXDE Edition is available right now (see download links below) only for the 32-bit architecture, and it is distributed as a Live CD.
These instructions are a must read in order for existing Linux Mint LXDE users to upgrade to the new release. Testers of the Release Candidate version only need to apply the level 1 and 2 updates available in the Update Manager app.
