All users of the Linux 3.8 kernel series must upgrade!

Greg Kroah-Hartman announced a few minutes ago, April 5, the immediate availability for download of the sixth maintenance release for the stable Linux 3.8 kernel series.

Linux kernel 3.8.6 contains a few ARM fixes (especially for OMAP2 and IMX), some Arch fixes (x86, PowerPC, SPARC, s390, etc.), various Btrfs improvements, networking (IPv4) fixes and many updated drivers.

"I'm announcing the release of the 3.8.6 kernel. All users of the 3.8 kernel series must upgrade. The updated 3.8.y git tree can be found at: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git linux-3.8.y and can be browsed at the normal kernel.org git web browser: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git;a=summary," Greg KH said in the email announcement.
