All users of Linux kernel 3.12 are urged to upgrade now!

Greg Kroah-Hartman has just announced a few hours ago, November 20, that the first maintenance release of the Linux kernel 3.12 is now available for download.

Linux kernel 3.12.1 is a small release that contains mostly updated drivers (networking, USB and video), as well as an ALSA fix, and a few networking fixes for IPv4 and IPv6. In numbers, Linux kernel 3.12.1 changes 22 files, with 135 insertions and 50 deletions.

"I'm announcing the release of the 3.12.1 kernel. All users of the 3.12 kernel series must upgrade. The updated 3.12.y git tree can be found at: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git linux-3.12.y and can be browsed at the normal kernel.org git web browser: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git;a=summary," Greg Kroah-Hartman said in the official release announcement.
