Greg Kroah-Hartman had just announced a few minutes ago, October 5, that the fourth maintenance release for Linux kernel 3.11 is now available for download.

Linux Kernel 3.11.4 is once again a pretty big release that updates or fixes lots of drivers, including Radeon, Intel i915, Wireless and USB. The ARM platform gets a fix for the Thumb-2 bug in the AES assembler code, and two bugs were squashed for the x86 architecture.

"I'm announcing the release of the 3.11.4 kernel. All users of the 3.11 kernel series must upgrade. The updated 3.11.y git tree can be found at: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git linux-3.11.y and can be browsed at the normal kernel.org git web browser: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git;a=summary," Greg Kroah-Hartman said in the official release announcement.

Download Linux kernel 3.11.4 right now from Softpedia. We also want to remind everyone that the LTS Linux kernels 3.10.15, 3.4.65 and 3.0.99 are also available for download on Softpedia.
