Greg Kroah-Hartman announced on July 28 that the fourth maintenance release for the 3.10 branch of the Linux kernel is available for download, along with the Linux kernel 3.4.55 and Linux 3.0.88 LTS versions.

Linux kernel 3.10.4 is yet another important release, which brings many improvements to IPv4 and IPv6 protocols, as well as many updated drivers and ARM fixes.

"I'm announcing the release of the 3.10.4 kernel. All users of the 3.10 kernel series must upgrade."

"The updated 3.10.y git tree can be found at: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git linux-3.10.y and can be browsed at the normal kernel.org git web browser: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git;a=summary," Greg Kroah-Hartman said in the official release announcement.

Arch Linux users will probably be the first to get this brand new maintenance release of Linux kernel 3.10, so make sure you update your systems regularly.
