According to Linutop.com, Linutop is a Linux-based diskless, noiseless, low power operation and extremely small case personal computer created especially for Internet browsing. But wait, Linutop is not made strictly for Internet surfing, it can also be used for public information displays, as a point-of-sale terminal or as an embedded PC for cars, boats or planes.

Linutop comes with a 1 GB USB flash disk containing the Xubuntu Linux operating system and the necessary software (Firefox web browser, Gaim instant messenger, Abiword word processor). You can also save your personal data on this external USB key.

In front, it has up to 4 USB ports where you can attach a keyboard & mouse and two audio in & out sockets for headphones and/or microphone. In back, it has a 100baseT Ethernet socket and a VGA output for your monitor.
