Linpus Lite Desktop Edition 1.6 Has New Dock

Linpus Lite Desktop Edition 1.6, a commercial Fedora-based distribution developed by Linpus Technologies, has been announced today, December 20th.

Linpus Lite Desktop Edition 1.6 is based on GNOME 3 and it just received a large number of improvements such as a modified application dock that can be accessed from anywhere, apps appear as thumbnail launchers on the docl, a universal Quick Launch panel, brightness and the projector switch, and instant notifications for emails.

Also, Linpus Lite Desktop Edition 1.6 has new Gwibber functionalities for interaction with online media and social networks, like LinkedIn, Sina, and Facebook.

The Linpus desktop has been designed in such a way that all of it's features, applications, system settings and user interface can be customized at will.
