LinkedIn, world’s largest professional network has just updated its iOS application with support for iPhone 5.

Although the previous version added some performance enhancements and improvements, the latest update doesn’t bring anything new.

The main purpose of the application is to allow users to connect with co-workers, friends and other people in the network while on the move.

According to LinkedIn, the service has more than 175 million members worldwide and the iOS application already features support for several languages.

Keep in mind that some features are only available on iPhone, such as The Jobs functionality, which is not included in the iPad version of LinkedIn.

LinkedIn 5.1.1 is now available as a free download via App Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running iOS 4.3 and later. Check it out here.
