LinkedIn claims it serves more than 135 million users around the globe. Its official application for Android devices though has been positioned by Google among the most popular apps with 1M – 5M downloads since its launch in the Android Market.

The latest update delivered by the folks at LinkedIn fixes several bugs that were affecting users with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich devices, and brings a new feature.

Although this is only a minor update, it’s mandatory for Android 4.0 users as the update specifically addresses several issues that were previously reported.

In addition, the latest version of LinkedIn for Android allows users to share profiles with anyone in their network through email from any member profile.

LinkedIn for Android is now available as a free download in the Android Market and is fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
