14 DAY TRIAL // LinkedIn Corporation has released an updated version of its iOS app to include a new search that helps you find and discover people, jobs, companies, and groups.
The new search function is available only for iPhone users and, if you want to meet someone new, just look up the person (or their company) to see if you have something in common. Jobs are easier to find on LinkedIn 6.1 and searching is a lot faster.
In a nutshell, LinkedIn 6.1 enhances its search capabilities tenfold. On iPad, users only get bug fixes, but that’s mainly because they were already enjoying cool features that iPhone users weren’t.
LinkedIn is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and iPad, and requires iOS 5.1 or later.
