Keira Knightley is fuming over Lindsay Lohan's decision to pull out of the drama 'The Best Time of Our Lives' (not related in any way with the daytime soap-opera 'Times of Our Lives', by the way). The two girls were supposed to star together in the movie, detailing the life of the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, and Keira did her best to get Lindsay to star in it.
The script was penned by Keira's mother (which is why we can totally understand why she is so pissed at Lindsay) and the whole movie was supposed to be a huge thing. Useless to say, the fact that word got out that the two actresses would be starring together in the same project and, what's more important, that they would be making out in a very sexually charged scene, got the fans all wired up. Bummer! It will never happen.
Various media outlets report that Lindsay backed out in the final moment, days before the production began, apparently because she felt the need to take some time off after her rehab stint. Although bound by a contract, that didn't stop the freckled actress from calling Keira and letting her know that she won't be joining her on set.
But, no need to despair yet: the always cool and calm Keira has already found a replacement for Lohan, in the person of fellow British actress Sienna Miller. Until now, nothing has been confirmed as to Sienna's involvement in the project but, insiders say, her participation is almost 80 percent sure. Apparently, she will take the part of Thomas' wife, Caitlin, in Lindsay's stead. Keira plays Vera, a long-time friend of Caitlin, with whom she was even romantically involved at one point, and also the woman who bursts into the poet's house, armed with a machine gun and a hand grenade.
While Sienna may not be as attractive as Lindsay (for some), we must console ourselves with the thought that the movie will still include those lesbian scenes I was telling you earlier. There was no release date set for 'The Best Time of Our Lives' yet and, since negotiations are still under way, it's likely we'll have to wait some more.
