Last year, the young actress bought the luxurious three-bed apartment just off the Sunset Strip in Hollywood for $1.9 million and hasn't lived in it even for a single day. Instead, Lindsay moved in at the renown Chateau Marmont, saying that the newly-acquired place needed a drastic make-over.
Yesterday, one of Lohan's publicist announced that the star's home is now on the market for $2.8 million, because she has changed her mind about living in it. Despite having as neighbors other big stars, such as Matthew Perry, Cher and Joan Collins, Lindsay is set to rid herself of the house, hoping at the same time to escape her stalker's attention.
Apparently, a very disturbing man has been bothering Lohan by sending her flowers and notes saying that they are meant to be together on the set of her latest film, 'Georgia Rule'. She insists that she has never met him and that he knows the address where she was to live and that this is why she has decided to part with that beautiful piece of property.
Her publicist has another version of the story and, believe it or not, it doesn't include the stalker. 'It was an investment. She'll make a nice turnaround', he said about Lindsay's decision to part with her brand new house.
