Michael Lohan has gone through with his threat of going public with recordings of private conversations between him and his former wife and mother to Lindsay Lohan, Dina, in one last bid to make the actress see she needs rehab. Consequently, he gave Radar Online an audio recording of a phone conversation he and Dina had back in September 2008, in which Dina talks of Lindsay’s drug problems.

On the recording, Dina can be heard complaining about the trouble Lindsay has been giving her when she single-handedly tried to stage an intervention to get her to seek professional help. At one point, the mother even tells her estranged husband that he simply has to step in and do something about it since Lindsay even punched her and threatened to throw her out of a moving car when she brought the subject up.

“You don’t even know what I’d go through trying to get her into, like, rehab and stuff. She’d like, punch me in the face, kick me out of the car... like you don’t know the [expletive] I went through trying to get her an intervention by myself. It was very difficult. She’s really sad and really hurt and really... despondent. I told her not to go to LA at 18... she did. I couldn’t leave these other three [Dina’s three other kids with Michael] to go get her and it was, like, a mess,” Dina can be heard telling Michael.

Lindsay, of course, is none too happy about his father literally selling her out to the media for, what she claims to be, his own financial gain. Reports in the media have it that she’s, as we speak, gathering evidence for a case against Michael, with her attorneys being set to ask a judge to issue a gag order to prevent further occurrences of this kind. In the meanwhile, Lindsay is taking to her Twitter to voice her anger, as well as to point out that Michael Lohan is completely untrustworthy.

“she blames herself for staying w/him for so long, I’d beg her not to leave b/c he always threatened to kill her if she did. after disappearing, then coming home after being gone for several days while cheating on my mother&abusing substances. Its so sad that I even have to share this w/everyone, but I haven’t had a real relationship w/Michael Sr. In years. That is the truth. Xox. I just hope I can show others how to be strong through times & to be able to stand up for yourself and loved ones no matter what! :) [sic]” Lindsay tweets.
