@Jackie66 - I suggest you do a little further research on the Kabbalah because it is most certainly an occult theology, though not of oriental origin as the articles contends.
Kabbalah is ancient mysticism that derived from Judaism and the holiest of Jewish holy books, the Babylonian Talmud. Do some research on the Talmud as well and you'll realize why those who follow it are so secretive about its content.
Actually, any form of theological belief, or dis-belief, as in the case of Atheism, could be considered a religious conviction. This would include the related belief systems of Kabbalism, Wicca, Satan worship and other forms of sorcery. Skull & Bones ranks up there as well, though its practitioners are mainly the well-heeled like avowed clansmen George Bush and John Kerry.
If you don't think these "believers" revere a different god than the Christian, ask Kabbalah Messiah Yehuda Berg who his Saviour is. I'll bet the store his "god" doesn't go by the name of Jesus Christ. Of course the Jews killed off JC long ago so that shouldn't come as a surprise. So who could this exhalted Lord of Lords and King of Kings be then, if not the Prince of Darkness himself?
New Age religiosity is designed to con people into intrigue and a false sense of enlightenment, while it distances them from the word of the one true God. Finding meaning and purpose in this world doesn't require breaking a code, studying astrology, the mystic arts or some pseudo-science. Jesus never spoke in crypted messages so why would anyone think it takes a Columbo or a super-computer to discern the past, or discover how it relates to the future?
All one needs is the faith that a Heavenly Father exists and that through Him, peace, love, truth and salvation shall prevail. Although the New Testament (as opossed to the Torah or Tamud) can certainly help those traveling along life's rocky road; being biblically scholared, attending religious services or doling out dollars isn't going to make the way any easier. Neither will the observance of so-called "ancient mystical wisdom" and a load of mumbo-jumbo from a pack of Talmudic rabbis.
Lohan says, "I am looking into Kabbalah. All of us need something. You just have to grab on to whatever can get you through."
As a Christian, I would ask Lohan why she can't find comfort and direction through Jesus Christ? Why turn to a hijacked spinoff of Judaism that pretends to protect you with warm and fuzzy scientology-like terminology and junk jewellery? I suspect the reason is she's more atune to the mantra of someone like Aleister Crowley and his infamous saying, "Do what thou wilt", or as Nike says today, "Just do it." Just remember that while whatever it is you're doing, you reap what you sow.
Did you know the Kabbalah organization is being sued for $20 million dollars by an alleged victim of a major swindle? Did you know that Adolph Hitler based his occultism on the Kabbalah? This was reported by noted Jewish Canadian historian and scholar Henry Makow Ph.D, in his book, "Illuminati - The Cult That Hijacked The World." It seems not all is kosher with this cabal.
As they say, the truth is "out there." Perhaps that's why some prefer to stay "indoors."
Do you think celebrity trollops, the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Lady Gag and Mad Donna are respectable role models for impressionable young children, or for those seeking the path of righteousness?
"Gotta Serve Somebody" by Bob Dylan
"But you’re gonna have to serve somebody, yes indeed
You’re gonna have to serve somebody,
Well, it may be the Devil or it may be the Lord
But you’re gonna have to serve somebody."
As Dylan aptly stated long ago, there's no middle ground when it comes to who you pledge allegiance to in this world. Either you're with Christ, or you're against Christ. (Antichrist). Choose wisely.
Matthew 7:14 "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
Matthew 7:15 "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." |
