Lindsay Lohan had plans to unveil her first Playboy cover on Ellen DeGeneres on December 15 but someone beat her to it, as the photo has leaked online. It first surfaced on Twitter.

The Daily Mail says no one seems to know who is the person responsible for the leak, but Lindsay might as well find some consolation in the fact that it was just the cover that emerged online before the official release.

Moreover, the photo is of low quality (you can see it following the link above), but good enough to get a fair idea of what we're to expect from the pictorial.

It shows Lindsay straddling a bunny-shaped chair in such a manner that her modesty if protected.

It's clear that she's wearing only black high heel shoes and the brightest red lipstick ever, which matches the chair and the curtains behind her.

Her long blonde hair is arranged in loose curls and she's pouting to the camera.

Her fans must already know that the spread will echo that of her idol, Marilyn Monroe, which she shot for the first issue of Hugh Hefner's magazine.

“It's a classic tribute inspired by the original Tom Kelly nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe, a portion of which was the original playmate which was in the original issue of Playboy,” the media mogul said a short while ago, as we also informed you.

He described it as “very classy,” with Lindsay's mom Dina chiming in to say the troubled star only agreed to do it when she was promised some control over the pictures that would be published in the final version, the cover included.

Lindsay was reportedly paid $1 million (€719,476) to be in the magazine, and this alone could have been enough incentive for her, voices online are saying – especially considering how she's repeatedly said she was broke.
