14 DAY TRIAL // Lindsay Lohan’s reportedly troubled relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson has been tabloid fodder for the past couple of months, so it’s no wonder that it’s Ronson herself who is now being held responsible for the former’s drastic weight loss. Sources are now saying that not only are the two going through a rough patch, but they’re even competing against each other in the body mass department.
Since the two went public with their love affair in May, Lindsay’s weight has been subject to much speculation. Undoubtedly, her frame did shrink considerably in recent months, but whether that be because of her liaison with Sam or not has never been established. An unnamed source has stepped forward to tell OK! Magazine that, indeed, Samantha is partly responsible for Lohan’s worryingly delicate frame.
“Lindsay is obsessed with her weight; it’s hard to be with another woman and not compare bodies.” the source says, adding, “And Sam herself loves being skinny and prefers Lindsay super-lean.” However, the influence the two have on each other’s eating habits seems to go further than that, if said spy is to be trusted. Ronson too, the insider claims, has lost weight, to the point of no longer being healthy, and needing medical help on at least one occasion.
“Sam has gotten so thin from Red Bull, cigarettes and stress related to life with Lindsay. Sam is disgusted by overweight people, but now she’s gotten too skinny because of stress. Sam [even] went to the hospital because she had a panic attack and couldn’t breathe.” the insider further revealed to the mag, concluding that, whichever one looks at the situation, Lindsay is no good for Sam.
Since the two met, Samantha, sister of acclaimed music producer Mark Ronson, and well-established DJ herself, has often been targeted in the media and made a scapegoat for each of Lindsay’s troubles, including her rehab stints and public meltdowns. This is actually the first time that a “source” claims differently. Either way, a rep for Lohan denied the story, saying that both women are in perfectly good health.
