It’s been only a couple of weeks that celebrity couple Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson made a joint public appearance, thus silently confirming reports that they were willing to give their relationship another go. E! Online is saying that the romance is over again after another massive row, as speculation is building that it was Ronson who called things off once more.

The celebrity e-zine says, citing very reliable sources to the former couple speaking under the umbrella of anonymity, that the romance was officially over this Monday. One major point of friction between the two girls was Samantha’s increasingly friendly talks with archrival Nicole Richie, whom she literally cannot stand after a fallout that took place several years ago. Since Lindsay would continue causing a scene because of Ronson talking to Richie, the DJ decided to put an end to the situation – by text nonetheless.

“The duo broke things off again Monday night after a nasty argument. One major point of friction between the two was Sam’s friendship with Nicole Richie, who’s apparently no fan of Lohan. ‘Nicole refuses even to be in the same room as Lindsay,’ says a source, noting that just last week Nicole invited Sam to a mutual friend’s birthday party at Bar Marmont with the stipulation that she not bring Lindsay. ‘Sam went to the party, and it really upset Lindsay,’ says the source. After Sam had dinner with Nicole at Izakaya last night, a source says she gave Linds the kiss-off.” E! Online writes of the breakup.

Things have not been well for the highly flammable couple for many months even before they first broke up in April. As a matter of fact, the dysfunctional relationship – as many media representatives chose to dub it – was often marred by violent fighting and temper tantrums, some of which even required police intervention to prevent bodily harm, several US publications point out.

However, the girls seemed to have worked everything out a short while back, as Lohan followed Samantha to the UK. The two got to spend more time together and reportedly to discuss what went wrong the first time, which made it so that they were later photographed together at the airport, preparing to board a plane to the US. Also then, Lindsay was snapped with what looked eerily similar to an engagement ring.

Neither Lohan’s nor Ronson’s rep was available for comment on the alleged breakup at the time of writing.
