Lindsay Lohan’s big comeback should have happened last year, with her OWN docuseries, Lindsay, which started shooting right after she came out of rehab, under the watchful eye of Oprah Winfrey, who assumed the role of her “mentor.” Despite the drama that plagued the first season of Lindsay, the show, a second one is now confirmed.

The legally troubled star is now in London, doing her first stage play, “Speed the Plow,” and praying that she has better luck with her comeback here than she did back home.

However, despite rumors that Oprah would never want to work with her again, it seems that she’s yet to give up on her, because she traveled to London to see her perform.

Lindsay’s “fairy godmother” still hasn’t lost hope in her

The entire world might have given up hope of ever seeing Lindsay as a successful actress again, but not Oprah Winfrey. The television mogul is even willing to work with her again and thus offer her a platform to show the world that she’s committed to sobriety and getting her career back.

Indeed, Lindsay is returning to the small screen for a second season of the docuseries, she accidentally let slip during a recent interview. This would explain why Oprah traveled to London to see Lindsay on stage.

“[Documentary series] ‘Lindsay’ will start filming again in January but you know, I also like doing a lot of work with kids. Oprah is building more schools in Africa, so I think that’s where I’ll be going after the play,” Lindsay says, as reported by Contact Music.

“We take a lot for granted and it’s good to step outside yourself sometimes and look at what you have and go, ‘Wow my life’s pretty good.’ You go and see these children who have no idea what’s going on in the world and they’re suffering and it’s those moments that change you and wake you up. We forget to do that. It’s so important to slow down,” she continues.

After the play and the TV show, Lohan wants another movie and kids

Few people believe she’ll stick to her promise of keeping herself on the straight and narrow path of sobriety, but Lindsay is convinced she will do just that. She’s even making plans for the future, as regards her career, positive that she’ll eventually manage to convince people that she’s a hard worker.

So, once she’s done with the play and the TV show, Lindsay wants to return to the big screen. And that’s not all!

“After this play – whether or not I do another play right after – I want to do another movie, and then I just want to like, fall in love and have a family, with kids. I mean, that’s what I want after this,” she says in the same interview.

In another chat with the media a few days back, she said she wanted an Oscar, much to the amusement of celebrity bloggers, who still can’t believe her Audacity in thinking she would ever be nominated when she continues to act like a spoiled, unprofessional brat.

Clearly, at this point, Lindsay is like the little boy who cried wolf one too many times, until no one believed him when the real wolf showed up. If she really wants to achieve all this, starting with her comeback, a good idea would be to follow her own advice: more work, less talk.
