The 20-year-old starlet is sick and tired of always being chased by the paparazzi for no reason at all. Instead, she chose to give them something to really talk about by announcing her intention of playing some of her tracks, live for the American soldiers stationed in Iraq.
In an interview with 'Elle' Magazine, whose cover she also graces, Lindsay said that she is in talks with Senator Hillary Clinton to see whether the visit to Iraq could be arranged for next year. Meanwhile, she tells about the means to change her image from teen party girl to sexy, vixen-seductress-like woman.
'Hillary was trying to work it out but it seemed too dangerous. I wanted to do what Marylin Monroe did, when she went and just set up a stage and did a concert for the troops all by herself. It's so amazing that one woman just going somewhere, this beautiful sex kitten, who's basically a pinup, which is what I've always wanted to be'.
Contacted by the same magazine, Hillary Clinton said that it has come to her attention that Lohan would love to perform in Iraq and that she advises her to go through the USO (United Services Organization), the same organization that made Marylin's 1950 visit to Korea possible.
As to all the bombing and shooting still going on in Iraq, Lindsay tries to make people believe that it would take much more to scare her away. And she isn't wasting any time in preparing for her performance: 'I'm not afraid of going. My security guard is going to take me to a gun range when I get back to L.A., and I'm going to start taking shooting lessons. He says if I'm going to go there I should really know how to shoot. Yeah, I have a dark side. I watched all those videos on Charles Manson for a while'.
