Now that she’s out of prison and rehab, Lindsay Lohan is trying to get her career back on track – and the first thing on her mind is rehabilitating her public image, for which reason she’s turned to the same people who helped Britney Spears out of crisis as well.
As New York Post’s
PageSix puts it, the star is very careful now about the career steps she takes because she’s more than aware that this is perhaps the last chance she’ll ever get.
As such, she needs to make the most of it and play the cards she’s been dealt very wisely. Luckily, she has already enlisted the help of Nashville businesswoman Lou Taylor and
Spears’ manager, Larry Rudolph.
For starters, Lohan is taking tips on the things she mustn’t do now that she’s a free woman (more or less, because she’s still to complete her rehabilitation and has a few court hearings more).
Since her jail stint boosted interest in her, many club owners are willing to pay as much as $150,000 for her to host a single party but she’s been advised against such a move because it would virtually kill whatever’s still left of her career.
“It doesn’t seem right – Lindsay just got out of rehab and prison, and certain casino owners are offering a ton of money for her to host a party and be around alcohol when she has specifically been told not to,” an unnamed source says for the e-zine of why she’s turning down offers.
Finally, after many years of disastrous media and constant criticism, Lindsay has understood one can only get so many second chances, and is determined to really make this one work out for her.
“Lindsay knows she has to stay home and behave, she knows one wrong move could land her back in jail. She has support from her mom, Dina, and Lou Taylor, who is a strong influence and a deeply religious and principled woman,” the same tipster reveals.
So, instead of signing contracts with clubs for parties, Lindsay is trying to
score serious deals that will boost her career, both in music and film.
“Lou has been working on fashion deals for Lindsay including the Marc Ecko ads and a deal with a Russian fashion company. Larry Rudolph was like a father figure to Britney, and Lou is referring some business to him,” the inside source shares.
