Lindsay Lohan may have made some mistakes in the past but she doesn’t want others to make fun of them, especially when they’re as famous and popular as Pitbull. The actress is suing him over his song “Give Me Everything.”

The track, a collaboration with Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer that you can also hear below, includes a line that, in Lindsay’s mind, is totally ruining her reputation as a respectable, hard-working actress.

Fans must know that Lindsay’s legal problems have long overshadowed her acting career, but that’s not to say she’s ok with people putting them in a song.

“Hustlers move aside, so I’m tiptoein’, to keep flowin’ / I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan,” says one lyric on the song, the same one that got Pitbull sued, TMZ informs.

In court documents, Lohan is trying to argue that her reputation as an actress is spotless (which is not necessarily true, if one is to believe reports in the press) and that the above lyric is ruining it.

Lindsay is furious, the celebrity gossip website writes.

“The lyrics, by virtue of its wide appeal, condemnation, excoriation, disparaging or defamatory statements by the defendants about the plaintiff are destined to do irreparable harm to the plaintiff,” the lawsuit alleges.

Lindsay, “a professional actor of good repute and standing in the Screen Actors Guild, is suing under the New York civil rights laws, which protects people from having their name exploited for commercial purposes,” it further says.

Pitbull mentioning Lindsay’s name in the song “causes [Lindsay] to be associated and identified in connection with defendants.”

As expected, Lindsay is asking for money for the harm done by the inclusion of her name on the track.

“The suit – filed by Stephanie Ovadia – seeks an injunction to stop all of the defendants from broadcasting the song. It also seeks unspecified damages. Ovadia is the same lawyer who filed the E*TRADE lawsuit on Lindsay’s behalf, which settled for a confidential sum,” TMZ writes.

In other words, Lindsay could win this without even going to court.
