The recently MTV awarded for the part in Mean Girls, young actress Lindsay Lohan is about to make the transition to adult roles.

But before she really takes the step, the newly blonde Lohan is courted for a part in Jonathan Mostow's retool of "Swiss Family Robinson", produced by Mandeville Films for Walt Disney Pictures.

The movie is scheduled to start shooting early next year at Queensland's Warner Bros studios.

According to an inside source, Jonathan Mostow has recently finished re-writing Greg Poirier's script, which tells the story of a Swiss settler family shipwrecked on a desert island.

"Linday's just talk at the moment, but that's someone they want. It might depend on whether she's happy to be part of an ensemble, and not the headliner". (moviehole.net)

Mostow is rumored to work for "Terminator 4" as well, which is in project, maybe because the producers are still waiting for Arnold's decision to join the team.
