Being under house arrest after several parole violations and other illegalities doesn’t mean that Lindsay Lohan is out of a job for good. Quite on the contrary, as the video below – a commercial for a website called Beezid.com – confirms.

The star, who is now serving time at her own home in Venice Beach, shot an ad for the penny auction website right in the comfort of her own home – which, understandably, she’s not allowed to leave.

Though the commercial seems pretty budget, in that not even the audio is top-notch, the company paid Lindsay good money for it, TMZ reports.

“Hey to all of my friends, I just wanted to share with you that during my time at home I found this amazing website with great deals. It’s called Beezid.com. Be sure to check it out!” is all that Lindsay says in the ad.

She’s seen sitting on a sofa, while a huge poster of herself holding a gun looms from behind her. Her laptop is, of course, open and showing the page she’s endorsing.

TMZ says that Lindsay made a small fortune for the few seconds she’s shown on camera, with the company initially offering her $25,000, an offer she promptly turned down.

“Lohan got in front of the camera for an Internet penny auction site called Beezid.com,” TMZ writes adding that, for the legally troubled actress, being on house arrest is paying off big time.

“A rep for the company tells us Lohan was originally offered $25k for the job... which the actress turned down... but the two eventually came to terms for an undisclosed amount,” the e-zine further reports.

“We’re also told Lindsay was also given a $10,000 credit to spend on the website,” TMZ says. Lindsay probably made about $50,000 just for a few seconds and a few lines, word online has it, which, in turn, proves she’s still a hot commodity – at least for some.

Ever since she went under house arrest, Lindsay has been keeping busy, reports in the media have it: she’s been using the time to read scripts, hang out with friends and, as of late, shoot commercials.
