The new Lindsay Lohan reality show has just gotten a trailer

This reality series was touted as the “real” Lindsay Lohan, her life and tribulations as they occur off camera, meaning that viewers would be getting the raw, unedited version of Lindsay's life, instead of the altered, often hyped-up version presented in the media.

The Lindsay Lohan reality series was produced by Oprah Winfrey's television network, and it's been reported that the TV host paid Lindsay a generous sum for the exclusive opportunity. However, there have been some issues along the way, and they are presented to viewers in the trailer.

We get to see Lindsay Lohan crying her eyes out and naming herself a “prisoner” in her own life, before the trailer cuts to some shots of her glamorous life which includes non-stop parties, paparazzi and scandal.

Her mother Dina and her father Michael also make an appearance in the series, along Oprah herself who comes in to have a serious talk with Lindsay after she fails to show up for filming or conform to the shooting schedule.

A visibly unhappy Oprah says “This is just what everyone warned me would happen. And it is [difficult working with her]” to her assistant and in the immediate shoot, she is seen confronting Lindsay face to face.

She pours her heart out to the troubled actress by saying “My truth is, I really want you to win … but if that isn't what you want, I'm okay with that, I will tell these guys to pack up and leave today,” as a sort of final warning.

The TV presenter is right to be mad at Lindsay at this point, because it's known that she offered Lohan a staggering $2 million (€1.4 million) in return for doing this 8-episode reality series, only to find out that all those rumors about her being unreliable were true.

Lindsay meanwhile seems apologetic as she says “I know this is my last shot at doing what I have to do.”

Despite this admission of guilt, Oprah doesn't seem impressed and cuts her off bluntly, “you need to cut the [expletive], you really do”.

The “Lindsay” reality series is directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Amy Rice and is supposed to premiere this Sunday, March 9 at 10 pm, on Oprah's OWN network. The documentary promises to offer a candid view on her life and career, as she is more determined than ever to get back on her feet and get her life back in order.
