The event is supposed to have occurred when she was doing community service at the morgue for drunk driving

Lindsay Lohan is known for saying outrageous things in interviews, and while we can't really say that she's lying through her teeth, some of the things she's previously stated (some even in court, under threat of perjury) have turned out to be false, so take this with a grain of salt.

The former child actress has gone on the record to say during an interview with the Telegraph that she personally handled Whitney Houston's dead body while it was at the morgue. Initially, the timeline checks out, because Lindsay was indeed doing community service back on February 12, 2012, when Houston passed away.

Lindasy was working at the morgue when Whitney died, so that checks out

To clear matters up, Lindsay was sentenced by a California court for drinking and driving and violating her probation. As part of the sentence, the court also determined that she should have to go to jail, but also serve 12-hour shifts at the local morgue.

So, for four months, while you were out partying and having a good time, Lindsay Lohan was working at the morgue from 4am to 4pm. She later spoke about the time she spent there and the entire experience, saying that it had been “[expletive] up and inappropriate – because a lot of other people were meant to do it, and they were like: 'No, they can’t handle it. Lohan can.’ It’s different for me than it would be for other people – like, no one would really have to work at the morgue in LA and roll a body bag for Whitney Houston.”

Lindsay might just be looking to attract attention to her London play

Of course, Lindsay handled her revealing secret with a lot of class. She “casually” just dropped the information into the lap of the reporter as if it was something normal and knew not to emphasize on its importance or risk sounding like she was boasting and maybe lying.

Instead, Lindsay casually mentioned that she had handled Whitney's body like it was the most natural thing in the world. Also, she failed to address as to why she kept this a secret for so long and why she never told a living soul about it before.

It's also a puzzle why she chose to tell a reporter for the first time, knowing very well that the reporter would spread the news to the entire world. It could all very well be a method of raising interest in her upcoming London play, because if there's one thing Lindsay can do, that is to be scandalous.

Some of you might remember that, earlier this year, she said that she had suffered a miscarriage and that turned out to be a lie. So there's really a chance that Lindsay is making all of this up in an desperate effort to get more people interested in her London play by attracting attention to herself with a major scandal.
