Lindsay Lohan thinks Amanda Bynes should be thrown in jail, says so on Twitter

Because of her behavior these past few months, Amanda Bynes is now being compared to Lindsay Lohan, who also went through a series of very public legal mishaps. Suffice it to say, Lindsay isn’t too happy about the comparisons.

As we also noted on several past occasions, Amanda has been getting into a lot of trouble recently, allegedly driving while under the influence, becoming involved in hit and runs, and basically acting very odd and prompting talk of suffering of some sort of mental problem.

The bottom line is that Amanda has been cited at least thrice for hit and run, has had her license suspended but still drove afterwards, until she was pulled over and had her vehicle impounded.

Enough is enough, Lindsay Lohan believes: Amanda should have been thrown in jail.

“Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far? +” Lindsay tweeted a few hours ago.

Her friends and fans / followers agree with her: she was made an example, while Bynes is merely getting a slap on the wrist. Somehow, it’s not fair.

“These are the moments that I appreciate my life experiences, living without regrets and Disney for supporting me as an actress-night all*” Lindsay tweeted shortly afterwards.

However, what Lohan is overlooking in claiming she got the book thrown at her is that she too got countless warnings and talk-downs before she was actually sent to jail – where, by the way, she only spent a few weeks.

Moreover, Lindsay was convicted of grand theft and parole violation, whereas Amanda hasn’t yet been found guilty of any crime, even though it’s clear what she’s been doing isn’t just illegal but also terribly dangerous.

For the sake of argument, below is Lindsay’s impressive rap sheet, courtesy of I Don’t Like You In That Way. Despite all this, Lohan got off very, very easy.
