14 DAY TRIAL // Some years back, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton were almost inseparable, Best Friends Forever (BFFs). They had a falling out and, to this day, still refuse to speak to each other, which makes whatever possible encounter between the two potentially explosive or, at best, awkward.
This seems to have been the case at Lady Gaga’s perfume launch late last week, PageSix reports, when LiLo and Paris accidentally crossed paths, and Lindsay freaked out completely.
She’d just wrapped shooting her cameo for “Scary Movie 5” with Charlie Sheen and was in the brightest of spirits, when she noticed Paris at the same event.
Obviously, neither had any idea the other would be there, at the Guggenheim Museum, where Gaga launched her first fragrance, Fame, with much fanfare.
“Lindsay freaked out when she saw Paris. Neither knew the other would be there. And when Lindsay first saw Paris, she just stepped back with these big eyes. She was shaking her head and kept repeating, ‘No, no, I can’t’,” an insider says for the celebrity publication.
Celebrity gossip lovers might remember that Lindsay burned all bridges with Paris after the heiress was caught by paparazzi egging Brandon Davis on as he mocked LiLo for the cameras.
She still resents her for that stunt she pulled and for stabbing her in the back, when she thought she was her friend.
“Lindsay refused to get her picture taken with Paris. But eventually she calmed down,” the insider explains.
Lindsay wasn’t the only one to (nearly) cause drama either, the report further mentions: Paris too strove to get Gaga’s attention, almost making a fool of herself in the process.
“While Lohan arrived at the event ‘very quietly,’ Hilton ‘marched in and tried to push her way through the crowd to Gaga,’ only to turn around when she realized no one was moving out of her way when she wanted to get to the singer,” PageSix writes.
Lindsay, on the other hand, got a hug and a photo op with Gaga. The two are friends and have even partied together on occasion in the past few months.
